Ferdinando Bucci history

Ferdinando Bucci, grandfather of the actual CEO, enters in1885 the world of gold, opening a watch and jewelry store in Florence. He is a clever artisan, business is good and the store expands and imposes itself as one of the most influential in the area.

His son, Fosco, fruitfully continues running the business, and starts the distribution on a wholesale level. To fulfill the ever-greater demand of their creations he opens a showroom in the center of Florence.

It's not until the arrival in the Company of his son Ferdinando, that the distribution broadens drastically on a national level and, in the 70's - with the able help of his wife Theresa - thought out Europe and the USA.

Ever committed to his trade and renown for his leadership and expertise, Ferdinando's accomplishments extent well beyond the realm of his company: he was elected vice-president of the "Association of Italian wholesalers", served as an executive member of the "Confcommercio", is a court appointed Jewelry expert and was made a "Cavalier" by the Italian government.

Today, Ferdinando and Theresa's three children are the motor of the Company.

Carolina, residing in London, is the talented designer and art director of the business; she also cleverly manages the Asian and European markets.

Elisabetta, currently living in NY, is responsible for the US markets and handles all PR relations- traveling all over the world as an ambassador of the Bucci brands.

Federico, lives in Florence, is the CFO of the Company and handles, with keen commitment, all aspects of production.

Ferdinando Bucci srl has been for more than 100 years, synonymous of design and quality.

All the models produced in their workshops and factories are studied with extreme stylistic and technical attention - incorporating the most classic methods of the Florentine goldsmith tradition with avant-garde processes.

The production of each piece if followed closely and cured with passion - and only after a strict quality control the jewelry is certified and put on the market.
